This new illustration is based on the whim of an idea that I had when I was thinking about another way to view The Princess Bride. I decided to look at the movie from a revenge angle and my mind immediately thought of Kill Bill and it’s iconic poster. To begin I wanted to display most of the characters from The Princess Bride very much in the way that most of the Kill Bill posters displayed the portraits of the assassins. Also picked up the same title treatment and texture usage as well, to create a more authentic feel of a Kill Bill type movie. I decided against coloring the characters in the background which would have crowded the illustration visually too much, so I chose to color the cast of characters such as fezzik and vizzini in monotone to add contrast to both the background color as well as inigo himself. As an add-on this is one of my favorite (and still is) movies as a kid as well as Kill Bill. I feel that while they are both completely separate movies both in tone and style they managed to create awesome characters and journeys to follow such as “The Bride” and the ever cleverly awesome Inigo Montoya and his impassioned speech to his fathers killer. This (LINK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6m7NR6iYjg) is quite possibly one of the best fuck yeah moments aside from the last episode of GOT recently.

I found the 6 fingered man for Inigo! He’s hiding in the Avengers movie! He’s sure changed his look….no wonder he had a hard time finding him!
